I was healthy and always stayed active until 7 years ago when I became caregiver for my husband.  About 2 years ago his chronic condition worsened.  Having to lift him, along with getting his wheel chair in and out of the car, took its toll.  Eventually, walking became difficult and painful.  At a suggestion of others, I agreed to see a Chiropractor.  I walk a little straighter and take bigger steps.  I can tolerate getting in and out of bed with very little pain.  I am no longer concerned when driving over railroad tracks.  Prior to treatment, going over any bump was excrutiatingly painful.  I have been seeing Dr. Pispidikis for 3 weeks.  The atmosphere and concern in the office, on a scale of 1 to 10, is a 13.     Marie Roy

Pain in the Neck and Shoulder Area

When I was bowling in my bowling league, I would get severe pain on the right side of my Neck.  I bowl right handed.  This pain was so severe, I thought I must give up bowling.  Then I met Dr. John Pispidikis.  After we had talked about my pain he said come to my office, I can help you.  So I made an appointment, and I have to say, I have been well satisfied with the results.  I feel much better.  Now I can enjoy bowling without having to put up with severe pain.  Thank you Dr. P.     Thomas Edwards

Low Back Pain and Hip Pain

        When I was 19 years old I had two bulging discs in my back which later herniated.  I went to therapy for two years.  I received some relief to where I did not have to get surgery.  I have dealt with the pain on and off for 10 years.  It started to get worse the older I became, so I went to more therapy but it did not help.  My wife had neck pain and went to Spinal Recovery Center.  She saw the Doctor, was adjusted and felt better.  She bugged me to go to the Chiropractors, so I finally went and the Doctor said he could help me.   I feel a lot better and he was right.  It took a few weeks, but if I could feel this way all the time I will get adjusted for the rest of my life.  I highly recommend Dr. John Pispidikis at Spinal Recovery Center.

Low Back Pain - PREGNANCY

          For at least 10 years I have had lower back pain.  When I was in high school I played sports and had many "hard hits" to my back.  Then recently, I found out I was pregnant.  At 23 my back felt as though I was in a forty year old's body.  I couldn't do simple things without unbarable pain.  Often enough to bring me to tears.  It also made me less active.  Now, I can sleep through the night.  I've also been taught how to properly care for my spine.  Being my first time at a Chiropractor's office I was extremely nervous, but Dr. P made me feel so comfortable.  I would recommend anyone in pain to come to Dr. P.  He has brought back the freedom to be Pain - Free and enjoy life again.  Now, I am back to my old self.  Only now I have the education to take care of myself so I am better than before.  Oh!  and it must be said that he has the best staff ever!

Low Back Pains with pain down my legs, Neck pain, and Headaches

       I would have to say when I first went in I was a big mess.  But, after my 3rd or 4th session I was starting to feel a lot better.  I think I have 7 more sessions left and so far I'm doing amazing.  I still have some bad days, your going to have your ups and downs.  I'm really glad that I'm going through the Spinal Decompression program.  You can't imagine how much help you can really get.  You just have to know what options are out there.  This has really been encouraging for me to do this for my health.  I think if you are having any sort of Neck or Back pain I would do this over surgery.  Out of a 1-10 scale, 10 being the worst, I was way over a 10.  Now, I would have to say I am a 7.  Since there is help out there, get it.  I am a much happier person since I have received treatment.

Degenerative Disc Disease requiring Decompression Therapy

 My need to get immediate help and release of lower spine/back pain was answered by the great results at Spinal Recovery Center. I was very pleased with quick and positive results and the ease of my health program with center staff. This allowed me to be most confident about their professionalism and surgery free program. Neck pain, Shoulder/Upper Back pain and Lower Back Pain

In the short eight weeks I already feel a difference in how much better I feel. In the beginning I experienced great discomfort and sensitivity in the upper back and front rib cage as the adjustments were being done. The pain had lessened greatly with combination of chiropractic adjustments and exercise.  I've experienced great improvement in the freedom of my movement. Cervical Disc Herniation requiring Decompression Therapy

Two years ago I found out that I have a bulging disk in my neck. Referred by my primary care physician I sought treatment through the pain clinic at Henry Ford Hospital. I started with trigger point injections. They worked for a short while. Then they recommended cervical epidural injections. Throughout the last two years I've been in physical therapy four different times, I've missed about nine months of work and saw a surgeon three times. I am thankful I don't need surgery.  After 12 injections and no other solutions I went to Spinal Recovery Center and started spinal decompression treatments. I've been searching for alternative treatment to the injections and wanted something less invasive to my body. During my first appointment they took x-rays of my neck and I saw a short video on spinal care.Then Dr. Pispidikis discussed his plan with me. I started my treatments the same day and I haven't needed an injection in over a month and counting. Everyday activities are getting a little easier, I'm sleeping a lot more, and I've been able to work a few extra hours here and there. I think Dr. Pispidikis and his staff are taking excellent care of me and putting me on the right track to a better life without so much pain.

Low back pain with radiating symptoms into the leg requiring Decompression therapy

I am 41 years old and have been dealing with low back pain and leg pain for years, which has made my everyday life miserable.When I went to Dr. Pispidikis'Office I was in extreme pain and out of options.I had already tried physical therapy, spinal injections and now they wanted to do back surgery.  I knew back surgery wasn't guaranteed and could cause more problems as I got older.  So Dr. Pispidikis told me about spinal decompression and chiropractic care. After a couple of weeks I felt relief.  I was now able to sit for a long period of time and even put my shoes on, which I could barely do before my treatments.  I am now able to go about my normal life without popping pain pills and laying around all the time.  Thank you so much Dr. Pispidikis and I recommend anyone with back pain to give this treatment process a try.

When I first came to Spinal Recovery Center I was feeling a lot of discomfort.  My back was very tense and sore.  I didn't feel much release the first month, but after a month or so I felt much better.  I was looser and felt relieved.  Now I go once a week and feel so much better.

without pain.  I had significant progress in the first two weeks of decompression therapy and adjustments.  Spinal

Vertigo - Pain in the Neck with Numbness/Tingling and cramping in the Arms

 I was constantly in pain or having vertigo.  My sleeping was done in 90 minute intervals.  After meeting Dr. P and his staff I finally had hope.  I started Spinal Decompression Therapy and after a few weeks I could already tell the difference.  I have now completed my 24 sessions and I feel great.  I haven't had any vertigo problems at all.  All the cramps and numbness and tingling are gone.  I feel like a whole new person.  After 2 years of pain and vertigo I can now say I walk with a spring in my step and a smile on my face.  Thanks to Dr. P I don't have to worry about surgery anymore.  I can now manage my own health.  Thanks Dr. P and staff!
